Narrow-body spreaders with twin-spiral rotors

Unique Design

The Optium narrow-body spreaders are fitted as standard with a conical body. This provides better material flow, even with sticky or compacted products. Following the same principle, the beaters are wider than the body to prevent the manure from being compressed and blocked before reaching the beaters.
The narrow bodies have been designed to facilitate maintenance. Blind spots and hard-to-reach areas are reduced to make cleaning easier. All of the spreader’s hydraulic controls are integrated into the spreader upright, leaving the front face unobstructed and keeping the hydraulic and electronic components largely away from contact with manure liquids.
The front face has been designed to be as straight as possible so that material does not stick and the inside of the spreader remains visible. Likewise, the conveyor is visible from the front of the machine, allowing continuous monitoring of its proper operation.
For regular and simplified maintenance, Optium spreaders are fitted with remote greasing points for hard-to-reach areas. For more extensive maintenance, the beaters are mounted on a complete bolted frame that can be removed from the spreader.
Designed for intensive use, Optium spreaders use HARDOX steel as standard for wear parts and high-strength steel for the beater bodies.

Precision Spreading

With capacities ranging from 10 to 19 m³, the PERARD Optium narrow-body spreaders offer a wide range suitable for all types of users.
All Optium narrow-body spreaders are equipped with HDS twin-spiral vertical beaters. These uniquely designed beaters incorporate stepped-spiral technology with a vertical paddle that breaks up and projects clods, and a knife that chops straw fibres. HDS beaters provide unrivalled crumbling quality and spreading width. Depending on the model, the spreading width can reach 20 m, reducing the number of passes and therefore soil compaction.
The wide spreading width also allows the application rate per hectare to be reduced while maintaining good uniformity. This gives PERARD vertical beaters great versatility, as they can spread both high application rates of cattle manure and low volumes of compost.
