Advanced Design
The X-DUMPER range has been developed to meet the most demanding requirements of the construction and public works sector.
The main mechanical components of the tipping body are protected to prevent damage during loading. In particular, the tailgate cylinders are shielded behind the tailgate arms and remain retracted when the tailgate is open. The pneumatic braking system is also housed inside the chassis. The signal lights are mounted on rubber vibration-damping mounts, allowing them to retract in the event of an impact.
To ensure high performance, every detail of the X-DUMPER design has been carefully reviewed. The tailgate opens to 90°, providing 2.5 m of clearance between the floor of the body and the underside of the tailgate. This ensures that material can be unloaded freely without obstruction.
The main tipping cylinder is housed in a cradle to limit twisting and extend its service life.
As standard, the tipping body is fitted with deflector plates and rubber mud flaps above the wheels to reduce mud splashing.
Finally, the body is attached to the chassis using bolted mounting brackets. These ensure perfect alignment between the body and the chassis, providing greater overall stability.
Robustness
The X-DUMPER range of construction and public works tipping bodies comprises two models: a two-axle version with a 6 m body and a three-axle version with a 7.3 m body.
The X-DUMPER has been designed around two key criteria: robustness and ease of use.
The X-DUMPER body is made entirely of HARDOX steel: floor, sides, front panel and tailgate. These technical choices allow the tipping body to obtain «HARDOX In My Body» certification, a mark of quality in the construction and public works sector. Beyond the certification itself, the use of these materials ensures a longer service life, even under extreme operating conditions.
To make operation easier, the X-DUMPER features a conical body with a flat floor and curved sides. This design minimizes material adhesion inside the body, while the flat floor allows it to be cleaned with a loader bucket if necessary.
On-road comfort is ensured by standard tandem or tridem axles. These specially designed axles feature reinforced flat leaf springs, providing robustness on construction sites and comfort on the road. The specific axle design also allows for extensive wheel travel.
